WZAA comes complete with an MCM for in-game user-adjustable options.  Generally speaking, our default settings should suffice, but should you prefer a more custom experience… have at it!

NPC SETTINGS :

These govern the “new” NPCs introduced by WZAA in the overall world as well as within WZ encounters.

COURIERS : Spawn Percentage

COURIERS carrying potentially important documents will spawn throughout Skyrim.
Default = 10% chance of spawning.
0 = Off.

FANATICS : Spawn Percentage

NPCs who take their allegiances quite seriously will spawn throughout Skyrim.  I suggest running from them.
Default = 1% chance of spawning.
0 = Off.

SWARMS : NPC Multiplier

In select areas, SWARMS are featured in order to create “mobs” of hostile NPCs.  This feature is only utilized in the RUUNVALD SAFEHOUSE, so this is best left alone.  Disabling it will make some areas “much easier”.  This is included for players who may not be able to handle the defaults.  This is a multiplier which takes your SPAWNCOUNT * SWARMSMULTIPLIER to generate multiple NPCs.
Default = 2 REINFORCEMENTS from each Faction may randomly spawn per cycle.
0 = Off.

 

EXTRA NPC SETTINGS :

These settings pertain to the NPCs that WZAA will be added to existing WARZONES only.

REINFORCEMENTS : Allow in WZs

In all WZs, the possibility now exists for randomized REINFORCEMENTS to be spawned in order to keep up the carnage.
This is a SPAWN COUNT setting.
If you find that the reinforcements are too plentiful (or not enough), adjust as you like.
Default = 2 possible NPCs per FACTION per cycle.
0 = Off.

CIVILIANS : Allow in WZs

Extra Cannon-Fodder!  Includes random helpless civilians in all WZs.
Default = 1% chance of spawning
0 = Off.

 

CAMP/OUTPOST SETTINGS :

Enable the randomly spawned and populated CAMPS and OUTPOSTS.

OUTPOST and CAMPS : Enable Percentage

Randomly enabled and populated OUTPOSTS, FORTS and CAMPS can be enabled across SKYRIM.
This determines the frequency – in percentage – at which you may see them.
Default = 10% chance of enable
0 = Off

 

ADD TO WARZONES SETTINGS :

Non-NPC additions to existing WARZONES

CANNONS : Allow in WZs

Adds randomly spawned SIEGE CANNONS to existing WZs and CIVIL WAR battles.
This is a RATIO.  ie: If set to 2, there is a 1-in-2 chance of a particular CANNON spawning.
Default = 2 (1-in-2 chance of spawn)
1 = Always spawn
0 = Off

LANDMINES : Allow in WZs

Adds randomly spawned LANDMINES to existing WZs and CIVIL WAR battles.
This is a RATIO.  ie: If set to 2, there is a 1-in-2 chance of a particular LANDMINE being enabled.
NPCs and/or the PLAYER must enter the area for the LANDMINE to explode – obviously.
Default = 2 (1-in-2 chance of activation)
1 = Always activate
0 = Off

 

PERFORMANCE OPTIONS :

If you find you’re having a little slow-down or overpopulation, these are the settings for you!

MAX NPCs ALLOWED per CELL

Clamps the MAX NPCs allowed in a Cell.
Default = 20
0 = Disables all additional WZAA NPCs from spawning (COURIERS, REINFORCEMENTS, FANATICS, etc).  Better to adjust these in their individual MCM setting rather than using this as a “global”.

GRAPHICS : Effects Level

Some CANNONS and the like have additional “realism effects”, like muzzle flashes and smoke.  Disabling this may give a very minor performance boost.
Default = 1
0 = Off

Additional CHAOS FX Level

When a CANNON is active, the surrounding area will display embers and smoke.  This can be very cool for immersion, but hard on performance.  The FX come in 3 “levels”, with a setting of 2 being “all on”.
Default = 1 layer of FX
0 = All off.

EXPANDED WARZONES :

Some existing WARZONES have been expanded greatly.  If you don’t want this, disable it.
