The GOD OF WARZONES has been executed!

Having left our fair world of Skyrim, the God of Warzones left one memento behind, in hopes that players like MostlySlowJoe – those that rightly worship at the Altar of the God of Warzones – would find it, don it, and use it to aid in the wholesale slaughter of enemies and innocents alike.

Perhaps accurately saddled with the responsibility of ‘save game bloat’, the God of Warzones Menu has been removed and replaced by an MCM (Mod Configuration Menu).  MCM is included within the SKYUI package.

For most users, the default settings will suffice so you may not ever need to access the MCM.

Those of you who may have opted not to install SKYUI/MCM will be able to control most settings via console commands.

These alterations take effect in-game and do not require restarting the game, however:

After setting or resetting ANY variable, if you are in a WARZONE cell, you MUST leave the cell and return.  For instance, FAST TRAVEL far away then back again to see the results.

 

Default settings for WARZONES : CIVIL UNREST are: 

SPAWNCOUNT = Low (1 per spawn point)
CREATURES = On (1 per spawn point)
CIVIL WAR = Active
BATTLE SELECT WZs : All On
Random Encounters = On
Random Skirmishes = On
Random Warzones = On
Random Ambushes = On
Random Encounter Odds = 1%

 

MCM SETTINGS:

 

GENERAL SETTINGS TAB : SPAWN OPTIONS

SPAWNCOUNT : Sets the baseline amount of NPCs spawned per spawn point.  A spawn point is, in a nutshell, a marker I’ve placed in game for the express purpose of spawning WZ Non-Player-Characters.

SPAWN MONSTERS : Sets the potential maximum amount of WZ-specific MONSTERS per spawn point.

GENERAL SETTINGS TAB : RANDOM ENCOUNTERS

RANDOM ENCOUNTER CHANCE : Baseline percentile chance that Random SKIRIMISHES, Random WARZONES and Random AMBUSHES will become enabled when the player enters the area.   With 100s of Random Enounter Areas, the 1% chance is, I think, reasonable.  You may adjust it to a maximum of 25%.  Some RandomEncounters have an offset that raise the calculated odds.

RANDOM CW SKIRMISHES : Enabled when checked.  Allows for CIVIL WAR related SKIRMISHES.  A SKIRMISH by definition in this mod is a 3 v 3 fight (randomized) enabled under a variety of Civil War conditions.

RANDOM WARZONES : Enabled when checked.  Allows for mid-sized, randomly enable WZs of all types.  Generally no larger than 4 cells.

RANDOM AMBUSHES : Enabled when checked.  Allows for small random AMBUSHES.  Generally no more than a few NPCs

GENERAL SETTINGS TAB : ADVANCED OPTIONS

DEBUG LEVEL : This setting will deliver leveled messages to the PAPYRUS LOG which may help in troubleshooting.  This will have no impact on in-game messages.

0 = Off
1 = Primary Messages
2 = Primary and Secondary Messages
3 = Primary, Secondary and Terciary Messages
4 = All Messages On

When contacting us with problems, please set this to 3 and be prepared to share you PAPYRUS LOG with us.

COOLDOWN TIME (in Game Hours) : How long before a BATTLE SELECT WZ will potentially respawn.

GENERAL SETTINGS TAB : ADVANCED PERFORMANCe OPTIONS

PERFORMANCE MODE : When ENABLED will effectively “halve” the amount of NPCs spawned in order to boost performance.  Think of it as a “.5 setting”.  For instance, if your SPAWNCOUNT is 2 and PERFORMANCE MODE is enabled, that’d be about 1.5

BODY CLEANUP TIME : GameSetting will impact your entire game.  Use with caution.  How often the game checks for corpses to remove.

BODY COUNT : GameSetting will impact your entire game.  Use with caution.  How many corpses are allowed on screen at a time.  Lower will improve performance.

Allows the user to Enable/Disable specific Warzones throughout Tamriel.  Organized by Hold.
